About Us

Welcome!

Our Mission: Protecting & Advancing Senior Living
Our membership is a dedicated community of senior living providers, partners, service organizations, and advocates committed to serving residents in independent living, assisted living, memory care, and lifestyle communities. Our mission is to enhance quality of life while ensuring that senior living remains a viable and sustainable option for future generations.

Our Advocacy & Government Relations Work
Senior living was founded on the principle of choice and independence, offering supportive services for those who need assistance with daily activities but do not require long-term ongoing medical or continuous skilled nursing care. However, the Senior Living industry faces constant legislative and regulatory challenges that threaten your current and future ability to provide these essential services.
That’s why our legislative and lobbyist efforts are a cornerstone of our work. We actively engage in:

  • Advocating for policies that protect and preserve our members' ability to operate effectively.
  • Fighting against burdensome regulations that add unnecessary costs and barriers to care.
  • Educating new legislators annually to ensure they understand the critical role of senior living in our communities.
  • Keeping senior living at the forefront of policymakers’ minds, showcasing the positive impact our members make every day.

Without this ongoing fight, senior living as we know it cannot survive. Our work ensures that our members’ voices are heard, their good work is recognized, and their operations are safeguarded from legislative threats.
Shaping the Future of Senior Living

Every organization in our member community has a unique and inspiring story, built on innovation, compassion, and a commitment to enhancing lives. We invite you to explore the exceptional programs, services, and enriching lifestyles our members provide.
Join us in this mission. Together, we are shaping the future of senior living.
