Subject matter experts are invited to become a member of our Speaker's Bureau.
Your proposal submission will activate the review process with consideration for upcoming speaking opportunities.
ISSUES A SPEAKER MUST ADDRESS: How will your subject matter apply to our industry? Specifically, how can our audience members use this concept? If the concept is foreign, members sometimes have a difficult time determining how to apply it to the adult residential care / assisted living / senior living / long-term care industry.
FOR CEU APPROVAL, it is necessary for topics to fit into one of the following areas: Person-Centered Care; Specialty In The Population Served; Supervisory/Executive Training Techniques; Geriatrics.
Please provide industry-specific examples where possible, a forward of your presentation outline/ short paragraph description of the attendee "take away" from the session, and your resume. Upon review of the information provided, you will be considered for upcoming Workshops, Webinars, Symposiums, Annual Conference and/or other Speaking opportunities throughout the year. To receive any reimbursement fees, you must submit a detailed speakers agreement form prior to the event date and have written agreement/approval from LALA/MSLALA Leadership, prior to the date of the event.
ASSOCIATION POLICIES: Presenter/Speaker Policy disallows any invitation to any Presenter/Speaker who:
- sells or promotes his or her product or service, at any time in/during the classroom session, and/or
- degrades a competitor, or other, whether implied or in fact.
